ANGELA WITMORE

Angela Witmore is an artist residing in New York's Hudson Valley. Born in South Carolina and raised in Southeast Asia, her unrooted upbringing inspires her paintings to depict the here and now, reflecting on mundane routines with a quiet sense of humor. 

Angela Witmore (b. South Carolina) earned her BFA in painting from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. Her work has been exhibited in galleries including High Line Nine and Studio Indie in New York, NY; Stay Home Gallery in Paris, TN; and Mohonk Arts in Highfalls, NY. Witmore completed an artist residency at Kanoria Centre for the Arts in Ahmedabad, India. She lives and works in Accord, NY.
