Kerry Kaneda Meyer is a ceramic and mixed-media artist whose work bridges ecology, geology, and craft. With graduate degrees in forest and environmental science from Yale, she brings scientific insight to her material explorations, often incorporating rocks and minerals she collects in the field. Influenced by her upbringing in the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe, Meyer creates work that reflects the interconnectedness of natural systems, from microscopic seed pods to watershed-scale forms. Residencies at places such as Anderson Ranch and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts have further shaped her place-based approach to making.
